Frequently
Asked Questions
1. What is "pile" weave construction?
Pile construction
refers to the vertical construction of the weave. This is in contrast
to the "flat" weave or Kilim weave where the weave is horizontal.
Regular wall to wall carpet is an example of "pile" weave.
2. Do you have a physical
location where I can visit your showroom to see your rugs?
We are
a 100% online store, but we have access to our supplier's warehouse where
we can host customers willing to meet by appointment.
3. What is the knot density
of your rugs?
Most of our rugs have an knot density of 64 knots per square inch (8x8).
Some of the more expensive ones have higher densities.
4. May I send a description
of the characteristics of a rug that I want and will you try to find me
one?
Yes. We will search in our current stock, and if you are willing
to wait a few days, we will search our supplier stock for rugs that meet
your requirements.
5. May I buy a rug that
you currently have on auction without bidding on the auction?
Yes.
Send us an e-mail with the rug number, and we will sell you the rug as
soon as the auction closes without a winning bid.
6. Will you ship internationally?
Yes.
We ship to most countries. Please e-mail with the country of interest.
7. If I purchase more than
one rug, will you ship them together?
Yes. Send
us an e-mail letting us know that you intend to purchase several rugs and
we will ship them all together. |
